Audio Sweetening
Audio sweetening means enhancing a program’s sound. When the enhancements required are simple, they can often be accomplished in the online or nonlinear edit session, working with the audio channels available on the existing videotape or timeline.
If complex enhancements are required, however, such as adding multiple sound effects or filtering and equalizing sounds, the audio mixing capabilities in the edit suite may not be the most economical or effective way to accomplish the work.
