Reputation and Ethics

Reputation is the information or opinion one has of someone or something, regardless of whether the information is true.

The reputation of a company is the image it has built of itself over time, through its values, its history, its members, its actions, its quality, its service, customer and employee’s satisfaction, and good practices.* In order to sell their products or services, companies must generate confidence in their potential customers. A positive image is built through a constant behavior during a period of time that is aligned with moral values.
