AppendixDynamic Table of M.O.O.N.s
Do not be discouraged when reading and using this table. Constant study leads us to making it evolve according to the criteria of precision and practice. The study of the periodic table of elements (Mendeleev’s table) is a living source of inspiration from which we have tried to find a similarity, and not a sameness, based on the principle of observability. In fact, a M.O.O.N. is not an element from reality, such as radium or polonium. This is where our real problem lies and is certainly the most critical aspect of this book (for which we welcome any suggestion and advice that can consolidate the current project). We used principles whose proximity seemed acceptable to us, such as symbols, groups and names. Using the expression fundamental state was tempting (from the point of view of transduction), but unsuited to us, because the MO.O.N. is not a state, but an operative process that can only be activated if there is a C.U.P., and hence we have maintained the expression core component (inspired by Gardner).
The point of this table is to enable the observation and assessment of M.O.O.N.s that are outside of the former concept of intelligence. It finds its utility and evidence in an innovative classification and taxonomy of “talents” (natural operating mode) and “skills” (intentional operating mode) for organizations.
