SHOOTING AND EDITING FOR THE ENTERPRISE: TECHNICAL CONSIDERATIONS

 

 

Introduction

Corporate video departments use a wide range of cameras, from the low-end Flip and Sony bloggie camcorders to the 4 K Red One and Sony Cine Alta. Managers who want to send quick videos to their teams don’t need to schedule a shoot with the video department; they can just look into the lenses of their smart phones or pocket cams and record their messages. On the other side of the spectrum, departments that wish to produce a major presentation that will be projected on a large screen can benefit from the cinema-quality resolution of one of the high-end 2 K or 4 K cameras.
