International Bodies that Address Corrosion
Abstract
Several international bodies have contributed to the science and practice of cathodic protection. These bodies have issued engineering specifications, guidelines, and recommended practices. Though not directly related to cathodic protection, other documents issued by these bodies might still contribute to the design and maintenance of cathodic protection systems. This chapter introduces the international bodies associated with corrosion protection, listing some of the relevant documents published by these bodies.
