WORKING WITH COSTS

OVERVIEW

SANDRA MONTERO returned to her office after dropping off Sandra Jr. at day care. Sandra always tried to incorporate exercise into her work routine, so after giving the security guard a friendly smile, she turned into the stairwell to make her usual four-flight climb up the stairs, as her doctor recommended. After the first few steps, she felt her thigh muscles ache and suddenly felt tired all over. She lumbered into her office, started to cough, and decided to visit the company physician.
