Mohsen al Attar (PhD) is a senior lecturer at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and a Visiting Professor at McGill University, Canada (2012–13). His research interests and teaching responsibilities oscillate between Public International Law, Third World Legal Studies, Law and Development, and Intellectual Property Law. He is thrilled to have contributed to this text because of the potential he believes ALBA holds.
