Being confident is one of those things that is hard‐fought, and extremely powerful once reached. It is an ongoing journey throughout life, but each level of confidence we move through brings us closer and closer to our most authentic selves, empowering us to step into abundance and self‐actualization.

In times of uncertainty, we often become desperate for understanding and direction and our confidence dissipates, absolutely nowhere to be found. But the one thing about confidence is that you cannot demand it. It will become elusive if you do, and show up as arrogance and inauthenticity.

Confidence is conviction in action. It is the ability to be certain of your resilience in any circumstance.

Believe it or not, confidence requires stillness as its birthplace. Stillness can remove fear as the driver. In that stillness, there is an invitation to do less, not more, which can feel counterintuitive to the “flight or fight” response that a lack of confidence often incites.
