Architecture governance

Architecture governance is the methodology by which EAs are managed and controlled at an enterprise level. It includes the following:

  • Establishing a system of controls for creation and management of architectural assets and ensuring the efficient introduction and evolution of architecture standards and best practices
  • Establishing methodology for compliance with regulatory frameworks and industry standards
  • Defining methodologies supporting effective management of governance processes with agreed parameters
  • Establishing framework to ensure accountability to the stakeholder community, both external and internal to enterprises
