Infrastructure architecture is one architecture domain that form the pillars of EA. It describes the structure of the technology infrastructure of the enterprise. It includes the nodes of hardware, the infrastructure applications that run on them, the infrastructure services they offer, the protocols, and the networks connecting applications. Infrastructure architecture also addresses issues pertaining to performance, resilience, storage and backup.
