What exactly makes a circuit soft? A soft circuit is any circuit that is embedded into a soft or flexible material . They are often composed of flexible conductive materials such as fabrics and threads along with discrete electronics components that are sewn in or attached by some other means. By this definition, the opposite—a non-soft or hard circuit—would apply to any circuit that is composed of hard, nonflexible materials such as plastic and metal.
