2Room Setup Mistakes
When I conduct train-the-trainer sessions, I often remind the participants to make their training room their residence. Whether it's a training room they frequently use or one they're using at another location, it should be spirited, inspirational, and colorful. The same lengths we go to make sure our own homes, spaces, and rooms are well kept and meaningful should be taken when we are preparing our training room for a workshop. Your walls, floors, and chairs have to talk; that is, they should bear purposeful signs. There should be warmth and energy in the space. Participants should walk in and immediately become engaged, intrigued, and excited about what is going to happen.
