Transform an image from color to black-and-white, and you have an instant work of art, right? Well, it’s not quite that easy, but black-and-white photography certainly conjures a certain mood, whether that’s the look of noir films, the feel of 1960s fashion photography, or the work of Ansel Adams or Henri Cartier-Bresson.
