Recognize Leadership Traps
As a leader, you might not want to think about leadership traps. Aside from the obvious—acting in a controlling manner as opposed to a serving manner—many of the traps I’ve seen have been about product ownership. Here are the traps I’ll highlight:
- When the team has several people who act as the product owner.
- When the team has no product owner.
- When the team has a business analyst who masquerades as a product owner.
These traps prevent team members from knowing what they need to do when.
