5. use style sheets

Style sheets, also known as external style sheets or Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), are tremendous time savers when formatting pages. You can create sets of styles that are easy to combine and recombine as needed. In this chapter, we’ll create several style sheets and use them to replace our home page’s internal styles. We’ll then create some additional styles within the main style sheet that can be applied to any page in the Web site.
