Chapter 1. Welcome to Encoder
Expression Encoder 2 is rich with features for both adjusting and encoding video. In addition, it allows you to export your video with a fully functional Silverlight video player that you can use on your Web site.
In this book, you will learn about many of these features as we progress through the project. Soon enough, you’ll see just how easy Encoder is to use.
But before we begin, let’s get comfortable with Encoder’s interface and learn how to customize it according to our preferences.
