Abstract:

In order to provide guidance and direction for an information literacy instruction program, the development of a well-articulated program mission statement, with goals and objectives, serves as a clear road map for all constituents. In addition, by formulating and situating written guidelines on and within strategic campus documents, the program’s importance and value are enhanced within the institution.
