Today’s (and tomorrow’s) student

Abstract:

While all students bring their own individual experiences, perceptions and skills into the classroom, it is important for educators to attempt to learn more about our students. Collecting demographic information, reviewing research on generational characteristics and learning as much as possible about the ways in which they think, learn and interact with the world can only help to strengthen our efforts as we meet them in the classroom.
