A great addition to Microsoft 365 was Power Automate, previously known as Microsoft Flow. It goes way beyond the old workflows in SharePoint, allowing you to connect and act on all kinds of “triggers” as well as schedule your own flows. We will have lots of examples in later chapters, but we will start with an approval workflow triggered from a SharePoint. We will also use the Outlook 365 action to send a notification email.
