Self-Awareness First

Since leaderful practice will likely require a change in outlook, especially regarding questions of control and participation in your community, it requires initiators who have become comfortable in their own inner world. Change may need to start with the “reflective stance,” which merely asks you to pause sufficiently to gain some awareness of your own actions. Ask yourself such questions as: Who am I, and what am I trying to achieve? What impact do I hope to have on the people around me, on my community, or on my society?
