Following the Dar meeting we entered the third year as a new region, during which the regional team saw its postmerger improvement in results reaching new heights:
- A threefold increase in the customer base
- An 80 percent increase in the income across all three major business areas
- A 10 percent reduction in its cost base.
The extent of these improvements was unprecedented in any of our constituent countries, and it was evident that the decision to create the new region and the method for doing so were paying off handsomely.
