After Effects includes the ability to stabilize wobbly footage. Mastering this is also the key to having one object track another
Motion Stabilization and Motion Tracking – the subjects of this chapter and the next – sometimes seem like magic…magic that you often can’t quite get to work. Some of the problems come from improper preparation of footage (not all shots can be stabilized or tracked), some with how the tracker’s options have been set, and some with just a lack of practice and experience.
