Maintaining a Balanced Diet of Meetings
This chapter is not about how to run meetings—many other books on the market can tell you how to do that. Instead, we’ll be considering how to determine the value of meetings so that you can maintain a “balanced diet” in a way that keeps your team healthy and active.
When talking about meetings, the term balanced diet is actually quite the opposite. As defined in health and nutritional dictionaries, the phrase means “a diet consisting of the proper quantities and proportions of foods needed to maintain health or growth.”
