Nonjudgment and Acceptance

As we learn to observe our thoughts, feelings and emotions, and the subsequent internal physical responses, we begin to see what makes us feel good and what does not, what creates positive energy and what does not. Now let’s look at how judgments impact how we interact with others in certain situations.

Figure 8.1 depicts the next stage in building an environment where accountability can flourish. It is all about you, the leader, leading yourself. It is not about the employee. Our efforts ultimately impact the overall environment and all contributors.
