5.3. Installing and Using the SoftGrid Client

Without the SoftGrid Client, you've got a server and nothing to use it. So, we'll get going with how to install and use the SoftGrid Client. We'll also log on as the first user and make sure the SoftGrid system is working as advertised.

The SoftGrid Client can be installed by hand or by using Group Policy Software Installation to get your clients installed, as you learned in the last chapter. I would suggest you use Group Policy Software Installation for all machines except the first one.
