Welcome to the world of creating training manuals! A training manual is a learning tool, usually a booklet that outlines the training for participants. Typically, they are created by the trainer or instructional designer who also designed the training.

Training manuals are created during the development phase in the ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation) instructional design model. Therefore, before you begin creating your manual, you should have completed a training needs analysis, created learning objectives, and designed or storyboarded your training.
