Our Purpose in Life
Much has been written about the Purpose of a company. I have written about purpose in some earlier sections.
There is a need to enunciate our purpose in life (at least to ourselves). Individuals should have their own purpose in life or their own mission, but having a purpose is a universal need.
I would say that our Purpose in Life is to Create Value all around us, for others and ourselves. That means we should actively create value for others, like our families, our society and nation, and our firms. We will thereby create more value for ourselves.
Leaders must have a purpose for their lives, as much as a purpose for their companies.
