  • State the purpose.
    • If the video script is part of a larger production, for example, a website, state the specific purpose of the video, but also describe how it fits the larger context.
  • Design Considerations: First Principles, Problems
    • What is the problem your learners need to solve? What instruction do they need to solve the problem?
  • Story and Character
    • What's the story? What characters will you need for your script?

  • Write a script in two-column A/V format that is consistent with the plan described above.
