The Day of the Shoot

You have a final script, you've planned everything, the talent and crew are scheduled, and it's time to shoot. Let's first acknowledge that the title of this chapter makes an assumption that you can do your shoot in a day. That is probably a good assumption most of the time. But some videos are too complicated or have too many locations to do everything in a day.

We will continue using the Grilled Flatbread script and video as an example. This video can be shot in a day, but maybe you'll choose to take two days because it has two locations and it requires only a small cast.

The crew will need copies of the prop list, script, the site survey, and the schedules.
