Chapter 9. Creating Style Sheets
Looking for an easy way to apply complex styles to your Web page content? This chapter shows you how to use Cascading Style Sheets, or CSS, to assign formatting to your HTML documents and across your Web site. You can create style sheet rules within your Web page or in an external file. You can apply styles from an external file by linking the file to your HTML document. Style sheets can be used to modify the existing styles of HTML tags. You can also create rules known as classes that are independent of HTML tags.
