Challenge 5. Create a Symmetrical Image

Description

Create an image all about symmetry, and don’t be too subtle. Mirror your subjects to make them perfectly symmetrical. Or mirror the scene. Or pose your subjects so they mimic each other. Or choose a location with nice symmetry that creates a peaceful moment. Choose what you want to be symmetrical, and compose your image around it, literally and figuratively!

Inspiration

We are drawn to symmetry because it creates balance and order, and thus we feel control and peacefulness. Our minds are always seeking control. Strategic symmetry creates stability, trust, and a strong sense of organization. Symmetry can also create a repetition and rhythm that help move our eye through a frame.
