Description

Just because you aren’t a painter doesn’t mean you can’t use brushes! Photoshop brushes are great creative tools that will extend your capabilities and allow you to add a wide range of textures, edges, and effects to your images.

Using Photoshop brushes doesn’t mean you need to make your photographs look like paintings. I have used Photoshop brushes to add fake eyelashes to a beauty photograph, to make a photo look worn by adding torn edges, to add smoke to augment the atmosphere in a scene, and to add textures for a gritty effect. You can even make your own brushes out of any shape or texture you want.
