The Lighten and Darken blend modes can have some pretty powerful effects if you know how they work. Not only can they help you harness your creativity, but they can even help you mask and cut things out. In this challenge, understand the power of Lighten and Darken, and use them to enhance your next work of art!
Inspiration
The Darken blend mode turns lighter pixels transparent when pixels on the selected layer are lighter than those on the layer below. Darker pixels on the selected layer are unaffected. In other words, lighter pixels become see-through and show whatever is on the layer below as long as the layer below is darker in that area of the photo.
