Abstract

This study examines the impact of the Internet on Interactive Art and Technology and the transformation that the online era and technological advancements have generated in the Creative Processes of designers and artists involved in interactive and immersive digital platforms. The ways in which these novelties enabled new means of creative work and changed the information transaction methods between artists and audiences were approached from a phenomenological perspective. Thus, analyzing the development of web art, interactive and immersive design, and ultimately involving interviews with creatives who had incorporated these technologies into their practice, evolving from traditional to digital processes, this research intends to provide insights into the capabilities of digital media in enhancing creative processes and improving the engagement of their design outcomes with the audience online. The findings contribute to understanding the relationship between artists, technology, and the development of the practice of the arts in the Internet age.
