The Third Dimension
As an artist who works digitally, when I hear the words 3D I think of software. Programs like Maya, SoftImage, and Cinema 4D come to mind. I think of building objects in 3D space, adding light, texture, and rendering. The right software package can certainly assist in creating amazing works of 3D art, however, those who are accustomed to working in 2D may find the steep learning curve a little daunting.
