I’ve enjoyed painting crystals and gems for many years now. There are a variety of ways to paint these beautiful earth objects as well as the many forms in which they can be found. Another great example of simple shapes and fascinating textures.
CRYSTAL SHAPES
There are three general categories I like to refer to when outlining gem or crystal drawings. As you may know, all kinds of precious stones and minerals come from the earth. Some in very raw form are later polished and cut, others are naturally shaped in interesting ways and can be admired because of their naturally occurring formations.
