FEEDING THE FIRE: ADDING DETAILS
Once you have a visual composition laid out onto your journal page and your creative fire is crackling merrily, the next step is to add detail and/or text to your journal pages, feeding your creative fire further. Adding this next layer of details to the page enhances the content you are developing on your journal page. These final layers can allow you to complete an idea, create a more unified and finished page, and draw the viewer in with a sense of intimacy.
There are a number of ways you can add just a bit more content to complete the idea you had in mind. Perhaps you need to express yourself in words and find that adding text in some form completes the journaling process and the page for you. ...
