After identifying stakeholder expectations and priorities, the next step is to establish the HR research and analytics agenda. It is important to note that an HR research and analytics agenda in organizational settings differs from a scholar’s research agenda in academic settings. In organizational settings, HR research and analytics practices and projects tend to focus on finding practical solutions to specific business and organizational challenges. In contrast, academic research tends to focus on a particular line of inquiry over time, aiming to generate new knowledge and theoretical frameworks.
