Crime prevention through environmental design offers many methods to interfere with offenders stalking victims. Communities can locate women’s washrooms away from telephones, light up suspicious areas, open up blind spots, and place legitimate businesses in areas formerly used for criminal approach. The point is to give offenders a smaller window of opportunity.1
