PREFACE

1. A geobyte is a 1 followed by 30 digits and is equal to about 1,000 brontobytes, which is approximately 1,000 yottabytes, which is about 1,000 zettabytes, which is about 1,000 exabytes, which is about 1,000 petabytes, which is about 1,000 terabytes, which is about 1,000 gigabytes … or just think of it as the digital equivalent of a barrel of ink.

2. Trying to learn from crisis successes is misleading and sometimes dangerous.
