Chapter 12. An Essential Handoff: Manage Test Releases

Even when people are aware of the need to deliver a test release to the test team, few are aware of the complexity and challenges associated with this process. Test release management is the downstream end of the system configuration management, revision control, system build, and system library maintenance activities. Like testing, these activities can have a tremendous impact on the project, for good or ill.
