One is never too young to like texts and images or too old to no longer need them.
Artists' books may have been the “quintessential artform” of the twentiethcentury, but there is no doubt that title belongs to picturebooks, and notably crossover picturebooks, in the twenty-first-century. At a forum I organized in 1997 (the year J. K.
