One of the simplest ways to increase your influence is to make physical and virtual changes that make bad behavior harder and good behavior easier.

We’ll now explore one of the most consequential but overlooked sources of influence, which is source 6, structural ability: the influence of our physical and virtual environments. We are often blind to the formidable force of the things and information we’re immersed in. And because of that, we often grossly underutilize this relentless source of influence.

One of the best ways to increase people’s ability to change is to simply modify some aspect of their environment to make the old behavior harder or the good behavior easier.
