Introduction: What’s New in Flash Catalyst

An update to Adobe® Flash Catalyst®, CS5.5, was released in early May 2011. This “What’s new” guide provides a hands-on tour of the most important features and improvements to this release of Flash Catalyst CS5.5, and is intended as a supplement to the existing Adobe Flash Catalyst CS5 Classroom in a Book®. The instructions in this update are written based on the flower_gallery.fxp file supplied with the book’s assets. You can find the completed fxp file in the Finished_fxp folder that came with this document.
