When i teach my workshops, I only have three hours to teach print designers how to code Web sites by hand. For this reason we spend a lot of time talking about the high-level stuff. This works out great for me because when the workshop’s over, everyone is super excited about how much they learned in such a short time, and by how easy it was. The attendees give me credit for this. But the truth is, as soon as they get back to their desks and play with a Web site, they soon have questions about things I didn’t cover in detail. Fortunately, the high-level approach gives them what they need to go forth and Google.
