Alex was up bright and early to catch the shuttle that would take them from the hotel to the golf course. As it was approaching the hotel, he kissed Christy goodbye, and he and Austin took the short stroll over to the shuttle area.

“I feel nervous!” Austin said, sliding into the back of the crowded shuttle.

“Did you know your body reacts the same way when you're nervous as when you're excited? Elevated heartbeat, sweaty palms, butterflies in the stomach. The physical reaction is the same, so it's up to you to decide what you're feeling. Decide that you're excited! It doesn't make the feelings go away, but it helps you experience them in a more positive way,” Alex said as he pulled out his sunglasses. Austin rolled her eyes. He always had something positive to say about everything, and sometimes it drove her nuts.

It had been a few years since The Trio had been together. COVID changed everything and turned all of their worlds upside down. They stayed in touch on social media and through their group text, but life and marriage and businesses and babies kept them all busy and distracted.
