Think of the human heart as a flower. What does a flower need to
bloom? It needs nourishment from the elements of water and light,
along with a proper foundation. Slowly, with care and attention, a
bud grows, and then the petals begin to open. During that process
of blossoming, a flower emits a distinctive fragrance, one that we
get to take pleasure in. Bees then begin to come, buzzing, search-
ing, and collecting the nectar that they are so attracted to. And
so the cycle of life continues, with the natural laws of attraction in
place. The sunflower is attracted to the sun, the bees and hum-
mingbirds to nectar, and human beings to all the pleasures we take
in with our senses.
