I would also like to thank my steady and grounded editor, Mary Ann Hall, for understanding
and believing in my vision.
Pattiy Torno, my friend and studio mate—thank you for holding down the fort during many
a late night that crossed over into day.
Doah Chabot and Ruslan Tumash, my collaborators for Breathing Deep: Doah, thank you
for your grace and talent, and for being such a beautiful yogini. Ruslan, you always seem to
capture the unique brilliance of light in your photos. Thank you for your time and skill.
Colette Johnson, my assistant extraordinaire, your exceptional beauty runs as deeply inside
as it is shown on the outside.
Finally, Jane Ellen Hennessy, my goddess of a mother and best friend: Your belief and sup-
port in what I do has helped form who I am today. This book is dedicated to you. I love you.
