Learnings from Value Creation—Four Types of Companies

I have learned from my experience with creating value and watching people and businesses around me, just as many of you have learned from your experiences. Do relate what follows to what you have noticed in your life. This reflection will help you look at businesses in a different light.

Lewis Hyde’s book The Gift suggests that the most unbelievable gift is one with no expectations of a return, and is truly unexpected. Value Creation is all about giving, not just taking. And delight occurs when you are given an unexpected experience!
