TSILLI PINES

Based in Portland, Oregon, Tsilli Pines creates her ethereal collages from found everyday bits and pieces: ‘I like the idea of creating something from nothing, so I mostly make use of odds and ends – the detritus of everyday life.’ She uses ordinary objects such as erasers as rubber stamps, waste from a hole punch as confetti and waste test sheets to create delicate compositions that often feature stitching and bits of thread.
